We know how complicated it can be to have organized information in any company. The training area is also no exception to this need, which is why EducUp Studio thought of a function that would allow companies to group the training of their workers into different areas or processes.
Let's take a simple example: if your company has a Human Resources department, where they need their new employees to take a business culture course in their 15-day onboarding process, you can create a group called, for example, "Onboarding", and assign each new worker to this group. By including them in this group, you can also manage the courses you want to grant them access to, and see the progress. Once the record passes the onboarding period, and continues on its way to another stage, you can decide whether to remove it from this group and include it or not in another group that corresponds to another process or area of ​​your company.
How can you create a group and assign people within it?
Step 1: Go to the "Groups" option
You must go to the "Groups" function that you will find in the "Community" category that appears in the main menu on the left side of the main interface. Once you select the option, you will be able to see a general panel with all your groups, and the information of each one where the progress and performance of the students is shown.
Step 2: Create a group
Go to the "Create group" option and fill in the details: group name, description, courses you want to include in the group (all users who have these courses assigned will belong to this new group) and group activation (it will appear activated by default, you can activate or deactivate the group whenever you need to).
Step 3: Assign or remove users to a group.
Select the group where you want to add or remove a user. To add a user, simply go to the "Add user" option, and a window will appear where you must add their emails as shown in the image below:
To remove a user from a group, go to the trashcan icon in the top right corner that contains each user.
How to delete, edit or export a group?
All of these options are available for each group. You just have to select the group, once inside, in the top right corner you will see three icons that correspond to each of these functions.
