Lessons are the units of didactic content that students will follow to learn. For more details on the course structure in Educup Studio, please visit the article "The Course Structure in Educup."
Below, we show you step by step how to create or delete a lesson, offering you flexibility to structure your course as you desire.
Create a new lesson
Step 1: Access the topic
Log in to your EducUp Studio account and select the course, content tab, module, and topic to which you want to add a lesson.
Step 2: Explore the topic
Within the topic view, in the content tab, locate the "Add lesson" button at the top right and click on it.
Step 3: Add a lesson
You will find a panel to complete the data for the new lesson. This panel is structured in three data blocks:
General information
Name the lesson: Assign a descriptive name to the lesson for easy identification.
Lesson type: Select the type of lesson that best suits your objectives
- General: General purpose lesson.
- Vocabulary: Ideal for learning vocabulary (combination of activities such as flashcards, multiple options, vocabulary games, etc.).
- Conversation: Perfect for lessons that represent a conversation.
Lesson templates
If after completing the general information, you check the "Continue with activities" option, you will be able to create a group of learning activities using our AI by selecting one of our templates.
Lesson content
You will be able to provide the necessary data so that our AI can generate the learning activities for this new lesson.
Step 4: Add more information
Once the lesson is created, you can access it and edit many other data:
Activate: Keep this option checked (in green) if you want the lesson to be visible.
Add image: Select a representative image for the lesson. You can choose it from our gallery or upload it from your computer.
Passing percentage: Define the percentage of correct answers the student must achieve to pass the practice.
Time per activity: Set the time in seconds that the student has to complete each activity in the lesson. Use 0 if you don't want activities to have a time limit.
Step 5: Save
Delete an existing lesson
Complete steps 1 to 4 and enter the lesson you want to delete. You can delete it in a simple way by clicking on the "Delete" button.
Remember that deleting a lesson will also delete all learning activities associated with it.
