One of the standout tools in Educup Studio is the activity called "ECard," which provides a simple and effective way to present information to students.
The "ECard" activity is based on long cards that can display visual content, either images or videos. This visual feature adds significant value to the learning experience. Images and videos can be used to enrich educational content in a way that captures students' attention.
Creating a ECard Activity
Step 1: Access the "Add activity" option
To access this template and create an ECard learning activity, there are two cases to reach it:
1- Create a new activity in a lesson that does not yet have any activity:
You must go to "My courses", which you will find in the main panel (left side) / "Content" tab / Module / Topic / Lesson. Here you will find two options to create an activity, in this case, you will check the "Add activity" option.
2- Create a new activity in a lesson that already has rounds and activities created:
You must go to "My courses", which you will find in the main panel (left side) / "Content" tab / Module / Topic / Lesson / Round. In each round you will have an icon with the "+" symbol that you must press to create a new activity.
Step 2: Select ECard template
Once you select the "Add activity" option, a pop-up window will be shown for you to select the type of activity, you must choose the "ECard" option.
Step 3: Configure the Activity
- Title: Add a title related to the activity's topic.
- Content: Include the content you wish to share on this card.
- Generate audio from body: Allows you to generate audio from the content you decide to put in it.
Language: Select the language in which your activity will be displayed. - Video URL: Add the URL of the video you want to incorporate as part of the activity.
Step 4: Save
Click the "Create" button to complete the creation of this activity.
Note: Once the activity is created, you can go to it and add new parameters or modify all its information.
